In 2020-2021, we did what many people did during the ‘not-much-to-do’-times of Covid-19: Build our own campervan.
We had, a year earlier, sold our previous campervan (A Mid-wheel-base Ford Transit), and had taken up the plan to build our own when we sold it, but planned to do it later in 2020 as we were going to do an air-travel holiday to Greece, so not much need for a van. Of course, that holiday got cancelled at the height of the pandemic, so we started researching vans.
Below is a short summary of our van build and how we approached it. We are still retrospectively putting these pages together, and we’re currently working on the electrics page!
You can find a more elaborate documenting on our Instagram, scrolling all the way back to the start, as we started the account specifically for the van build.
We’ll also share some of the resources we have created during our van build, which you can find on the Resources page!
If you have any questions or want to get more detailed information, just drop us a message, we’re always happy to help out!
